Lorraine was bought up in England before moving to Spain during 2005. Having qualified to teach English as a 2nd language in September 2006 (TEFL certification), she has been successfully working in the local village teaching children from 4 years to 21 years of age, engaging the students and making learning fun so that many return each year.

Lorraine has also been teaching teenagers and adult students online in Germany and Austria for the last 2 years and has built up a rapport with her students. Classes consist of everyday conversational classes as well as more structured general courses as well as business courses, both of which include an element of grammar.

Prior to moving to Spain, Lorraine and her family had students from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Romania living in their house for 5 years and took this time to teach the students English during their stay whilst including them as part of the family.

Having lived in the local area for nearly 5 years, we have decided to offer similar services to students wanting to learn English in Spain. You will have the opportunity to practise English all day long in a friendly family environment, and Lorraine will have specific topics on hand, should you ever run out of anything to say!

If you have specific needs, e.g. if you want to improve your business skills, we can come up with a specific programme with your needs in mind.

Background:

Prior to living in Spain, Lorraine's background was in an office environment where she worked for 20+ years. In her last role she worked as a Office Manager and Personal Assistant for an International Director of a large Telecoms company in the UK. This involved working long hours as she worked with the US as well as the UK.
Qualifications include Business and Finance BTEC certification
Lorraine enjoys living in Spain with her husband and two children.
Hobbies include swimming, reading, computers and the internet, music and films and meeting new and interesting people from different countries.
